You Can’t Stand Weeds, They Can’t Stand Us

This agronomic image shows palmer amaranth.

We know you can’t stand tough weeds that rob your fields of yield and profit potential, and neither can we.

Weeds like waterhemp, marestail and Palmer amaranth compete with your corn for sunlight, water and nutrients. An unmanaged outbreak can devastate your bottom line at the end of the season. Even worse, the wrong herbicide program can result in weed escapes and a high weed seed bank, which could also impact your yields well into the future.

Give Weeds a Run for Their Money

To ensure weeds can’t stand you either, we recommend choosing a corn herbicide program that provides long-lasting residual control and contains multiple, effective SOAs in both pre- and post-emergence applications.

We recommend Acuron® corn herbicide, which combines 4 active ingredients (AIs), including the unique AI bicyclopyrone, and 3 effective sites of action (SOAs). The bicyclopyrone complements the other AIs and helps provide more consistent and reliable control of over 70 tough weeds. Acuron also offers flexible application from 28 days preplant up to 12” corn.

The atrazine-free counterpart of Acuron, Acuron Flexi corn herbicide, has 3 AIs, 2 effective SOAs, and provides the same safety and performance from 28 days preplant up to 30” corn. Acuron Flexi also allows for the flexibility to add atrazine or glyphosate based on farming practice.

Both Acuron and Acuron Flexi can be followed by Halex® GT corn herbicide for season-long control of annual grass and broadleaf weeds. Halex GT is Glyphosate with Residual and provides a more convenient alternative to other post-emergence, glyphosate corn herbicide programs.

We’re Supporting the Next-Generation

We know how frustrating it can be to manage weeds, so we’re showing our support for the next generation of those who dislike weeds as much as we do. For every video share on Twitter or Instagram, we’ll donate $5 to the National FFA® Organization*. Take a look and share now.
