Come to Rend Lake, IL, Grow MoreTM Experience site to see how weed competition changes the architecture of the corn plant and impacts yield.

The Rend Lake, IL, Grow More Experience site gains momentum against all odds. After planting in poor conditions in early June, the site’s crops are coming in strong due to significant rains.

We are excited to feature multiple corn and soybean trials that address local area challenges, including bare ground trials. Site visitors will view trials that highlight weed management, disease control strategies and other best practices to maximize yield. Site trials include:

  • Bare ground weed control comparisons, which are void of crops to see more clear differences between products in their spectrum of weed control.
  • Corn fungicide application timing trials to show plant health benefits and protection against diseases like gray leaf spot and southern rust.
  • Syngenta corn herbicide comparisons to competitor products.
  • Soybean herbicide and trait demonstrations to show weed management practices.
  • NK® corn hybrid showcase.
