Heavy Rains Haven’t Hindered California Citrus Harvest

CALIFORNIA: January has seen an unusual amount of rain so far, and more is expected. According to AgNet West, the rain hasn’t hindered citrus harvest, and the season is looking good.
It’s easy to assume that heavy rains would cause problems for harvest, but the favorable breaks between the storms, along with having dry conditions for so long previously, have actually helped the citrus harvest.
