Flexibility Matters When Working With Mother Nature

January 26, 2018
This agronomic image shows rows of young corn.

Mother Nature is a tough business partner; she’s not forgiving, not flexible, and doesn’t always work with the wellbeing of the farm in mind. Variable weather conditions during planting can easily shrink the corn herbicide application window, making it tough to achieve timely herbicide applications and start with clean, weed-free fields.

This chart shows the application flexibility of Acuron.

Corn herbicides with flexible application windows help alleviate the stress of variable conditions and make it easier to make timely applications. Acuron® corn herbicide can be applied 28 days pre-plant up to 12” corn, and Acuron Flexi can be applied just as early and up to 30” corn. Both herbicides combine multiple, effective modes of action and a corn safener to provide safe, consistent control of tough broadleaf weeds and annual grasses, even resistant biotypes.
