Early-season burndown recommendations for corn and soybeans

April 5, 2016

With the onset of warmer temperatures beginning early than normal this year, winter annuals and other early season weeds are coming out of dormancy and becoming more prevalent. If fall herbicides were not applied, early spring offers a good opportunity to stop these emerging weeds.

Gramoxone® SL  2.0 herbicide is a great choice for quick burndown of these early season weeds. Gramoxone SL 2.0 provides a different mode of action to help manage glyphosate resistant weeds for resistance-conscious growers. This burndown tool works even in cool wet weather, is rainfast upon drying, and is an excellent choice when tank-mixing with other herbicides and fertilizers such as liquid nitrogen. Gramoxone SL 2.0 brings convenience, flexibility, and dependability for growers who want to get a head start on weed control.
