Alert: Codling Moths Found in Pacific Northwest

May 26, 2017

Agronomists report that codling moths are being found in traps throughout the Pacific Northwest. First sprays to control the pest will be taking place soon, so now is the time to consider which insecticide to use for control of codling moths and other sucking pests.

A broad-spectrum, foliar insecticide, Minecto® Pro controls the most important pome fruit pests, including codling moth and oriental fruit moth, as well as difficult-to-control sucking insects such as mites and pear psylla. Harnessing the power of two complementary active ingredients, cyantraniliprole and abamectin, into one convenient premix formulation, Minecto Pro protects against multiple pest populations that overlap or occur simultaneously.
