North Carolina:  According to NC State Extension, Asiatic Soybean Rust has been found on leaves in research plots in Florence County, South Carolina. This puts confirmed rust closer to North Carolina than previously confirmed.

NC State Extension recommends to be alert for rust while scouting soybean fields. Be sure to check the back side of leaves in the lower part of the soybean canopy.
