    Corn leaf aphids are common this time of the year

    CENTRAL PLAINS: Corn leaf aphids tend to show up each year in early to mid-August. Luckily, by this time, corn should be in full dent stage and at about 15 percent starch line, so we don’t expect any economic damage from the aphids.
