    MID-SOUTH: From walking several wheat fields across west Tennessee, I’ve noticed significant disease pressure from soilborne viruses such as powdery mildew, stripe rust, Septoria leaf blotch and barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV). These diseases are definitely worse in fields that did not receive a fungicide application earlier in the season.
