Although blueberry gall midge has historically been referred to as a rabbiteye problem, recently it has been a concern in southern highbush fields. Blueberry gall midge affects blueberries in major blueberry-growing states throughout the U.S. Capable of causing extensive damage, gall midge larvae feed on developing floral and vegetative buds in southern highbush blueberries….
