UPPER MIDWEST: The 2014 Wisconsin Crop Management Conference and Agri-Industry Showcase was well attended and a great way to learn about new technologies and current research during the off-season. Syngenta offered a detailed update on seed treatments that also included research updates and results from the University of Wisconsin. If you were unable to attend, there are still several opportunities to attend shows this year.
In addition to the UW-Extension and WPVGA Grower Education Conference in February for potato growers, the Wisconsin Corn/Soy Expo is a great event. This hallmark winter meeting is set for Feb. 6-7 at the Kalahari Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells. With an extensive offering of educational programs, an industry trade show and networking opportunities, this annual event is the perfect opportunity to mix farm business with family time.
