Watch out: Stink bugs jump from corn to soybeans

Stink bug in soybeans

CENTRAL PLAINS: Stink bugs have been found damaging corn ears and feeding on soybean pods for the past three weeks. They continue to spread from corn fields into nearby soybean fields. Although the brown/tan pentagon-shaped adult beetle may be better known, you should also keep an eye out for the small green oval-shaped nymph in this picture.
