Change Leads to Giant Ragweed Control

Nebraska: Wet conditions around planting during the 2015 season made it difficult for Jeff Miller, a Clatonia, Nebraska-based grower, to make timely herbicide applications. Once he was able to apply, the giant ragweed control did not meet his expectations, leading to weed seed carryover and a field full of giant ragweed prior to planting in 2016.

Looking for added application flexibility and improved control of giant ragweed in 2016, Jeff chose to apply Acuron® corn herbicide, a convenient premix with four active ingredients, three effective modes of action and a wide window of application – from 28 days pre-plant up to 12-inch corn.
